safe Our Food yield - The H-2A agenda Should Be Blasted Away!

We should be thinking about protecting ourselves from future food shortages by strengthening our internal food production.

Today, over 50% of our internal agricultural labor is illegal, agreeing to the U.S. Branch of Labor. Said other way, more than 800,000 of the 1.6 million agro workers who work on our crops and livestock each year are foreigners without legal permission to work. If you still haven't seen the light, here's the bottom line: there's a potentially disastrous feebleness in our food yield ideas because we're dependent on foreign food imports, undocumented foreign workers, and a shortage of American workers.

Food

Instead of blaming the farmers, or screaming at our politicians for not protecting our borders, we should be truly responsible by getting off our butts.

safe Our Food yield - The H-2A agenda Should Be Blasted Away!

First, by coaching our kids to go into farming. Next, we should be aware of economic realities which have been in place since the 1940s. President Franklin D. Roosevelt instituted the Bracero program in 1941 and, as a result, Mexican agro labor carried the day while we fought in Europe and in the Pacific. After our soldiers returned, we went on to build an market America unparalleled in contemporary times.

We were able to do this because we had the help of Mexican agro labor. Today, we are producing 25% of the world's economic yield even though we are 5% of the world's population. It's time to humbly admit that we need Mexican agro labor and that they should work for us legally. It's also time to sympathize with the plight of our farmers.

This is why. Imagine that you're the owner of a dairy farm with 500 cows of which 100 are dealing with the onset of labor. You don't have adequate American workers to care for the herd, much less these pregnant cows. You're told that you can get help from Mexico but it will not arrive in less than six months. If you're lucky. The H-2A Program, the politically-correct, yet inefficient portal to bring these workers in, requires you to go straight through a paper-intensive, deadline-ridden process that kills 40% of all applications.

Our farmers have more prominent things to do than to chase after the H-2A Program. They don't have time to go straight through three government agencies in order to bring a Mexican worker for seasonal work. Producing crops, milk and eggs, meat and poultry, not to mention thousands of other products, is much more important. So they use an illegal work force, and should we blame them?

The H-2A program should be blasted away. We should be using our great native intelligence to come up with practical - yes, practical - solutions instead of falling prey to fear-mongers who don't know what they're talking about. Let's get real about our future, our children's future.

Food

Punchbowl Hand

Fill a latex glove with water, juice or soda. Considered tie the end finished (a bit of string or a binder clip is good for this) and freeze. When freezing solid, remove the glove and float in your punch at the party.

Biscuit Spiders

Made up a batch of biscuits following your favorite method or using a mix. Shape spiders by creating a golf ball sized "body" and then roll out thin ropes of the dough to form the legs. Dispose on a baking sheet and lightly brush with milk or beaten egg. If you want, you can further decorate your spiders with raisins, poppy seeds, sesame seeds or chopped nuts. You can use aluminum foil rolls under the legs to hold them up while baking. Bake following you method or package directions watching to make sure that smaller items are not getting too brown.

Wild Worms and Eyes

This is naturally spaghetti and meatballs. Cook an unusual noodle that you do not commonly serve (maybe linguini or angle hair). When done toss in your favorite red pasta sauce and place on serving platter. Add warm meatballs and serve. You can make this spookier by tossing the noodles in a dark green pesto sauce or even in a creamy white Alfredo sauce.

Rice Cereal Creatures

Now I commonly shy away from doing "sweet" party food as there is so much candy colse to for Halloween, but if you want a fun way that kids can help with a party this is the best. Make a batch of rice cereal and marshmallow squares, only don't press them into a pan. Instead ask the kids to help you and generate goblins, trolls, snakes, whatever they want. Use small candies or frosting to add details such as red eyes or stripes. Place on foil lined baking sheet and refrigerate until firm. These make wonderful items for centerpieces on your buffet or Halloween table.

These quick ideas and Easy Halloween Recipes can add some extra fun to your Halloween party. They are easy to make and you will love that your kids can be complex and help you make cool Halloween party food. You could even use these recipes for party activities when your guests arrive.

What's Your popular Food Tv Show?

Food Tv has come a long ways from the just the old cooking shows. Now we have competitions, reality, travel, and even firm food shows. Even if you are not that into food television there is something in this genre that will tickle you fancy.

My all time favorite show is Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. The presume I love this show so much is because Gordan Ramsay is an absolute great firm man. I love watching him come into a failing restaurant and turn it around.

Food

What is breathtaking is watching these restaurant owners fight him the entire way instead of embracing and loving all things he is doing for them and their business. It would be like a real estate developer turning down the guidance of Donald Trump. The thing I for real like about this show is that Ramsay visits the restaurants 6 months to a year later to check in on them. Most of them have resorted back to their old ways or have gone out of business. But the ones that listened and followed his guidance are thriving.

Another show I love is Cake Boss. This is centered nearby Buddy his house and their bakery. The cakes they turn out are for real amazing. Cakes you could not even begin to dream were even possible. On one chapter they for real made a replica of a full size Nascar car. This is a reality show. You for real begin to love Buddy and his house the more you watch. It can be a bit addictive so watch out.

Man vs. Food is someone else favorite of mine. Adam Richman travels nearby the nation visiting locally and sometime internationally paramount restaurants. The thing I love about this show is that it is not fancy schmancy restaurants. These are local every day eateries that you can show up to wearing flip flops and shorts if you wanted.

There is also a food challenge in every show. The challenges commonly revolve nearby eating a disgustingly large number of food or insanely hot food. The food eating challenges commonly consist of meals nearby 4 to 7 pounds. I love to eat but that is ridiculous. I also love spicy food. But some of the challenges he for real had to wear latex gloves to eat so the spices wouldn't burn his hands. I can only dream the next day fiasco waiting to happen.

And finally there is Bizarre Food with Andrew Zimmern. Andrew is an complete chef who travels nearby the world eating some of the weirdest stuff you can imagine. Live worms, monkey brains, pickled fertilized duck eggs, etc. Stuff that you would turn your nose up too and even turn your stomach. I've eaten some weird things and I will all the time try whatever once. This is why I like this show because I get to live my life vicariously straight through Andrew.

If you have not seen any of these food tv shows you should do yourself a favor and tune in. They are all great fun and a perfect way to waste a half hour sitting in front of the Tv.

Food Additives That Cause Insomnia, Restlessness and Anxiety

So you think fresh fruit and vegetables are great for your health? perhaps not. There are many food additives that are unquestionably harmful and can lead to insomnia, restlessness, anxiety and many other problems. And some of them are used on fresh fruit and vegetables. But that's not all. There are a range of food additives that have been isolated that can cause insomnia, anxiety, restlessness, depression, wakefulness, irritability etc.

Food

Australians Sue Dengate and Dr Howard Dengate have researched food additives and food technology for many years. The following data and statistics come from their Dvd "Fed Up With Children's Behaviour."

Firstly let's look at Sue Dengate's term "Food Intolerance" because it is not the same as a food allergy. Some of the symptoms are the same as allergic reactions, but can include other symptoms such as irritable bowel symptoms etc. Many food intolerance's have a delayed reaction time (2 - 3 days), some are accumulative, and many are very difficult to separate and identify. Most citizen have no idea of their food intolerance's!

There are no scientifically proven tests for food intolerance. Reactions can sometimes take weeks to get over. That is why we need some specialist help on this subject.

In the 1950s 20% of our food items were controlled by the supermarkets, now the outline is about 80%. It is increasingly foremost to know what you are eating and how it is affecting your health, mood, sleep, skin, behavior, headaches, bowel movements etc.

Migraine sufferers have tripled since the 1970s with over 20% of households now containing at least 1 migraine sufferer.

The prevalence of eczema has increased 2-3 fold since the 1970s. About 1 Australian in 3 is affected at some stage in their lives.

Irritable bowel syndrome is now opinion to sway about 20% of citizen living in industrialized countries compared with practically zero in countries with primary eating habits.

Asthma has risen from about 10% in the 1970s to about 30% today. Asthma is the foremost cause of school absence. Most sufferers react to one of two food additives. 20% of sufferers are affected by salicylates. The majority can be helped by avoiding food additives. Even the asthma medications themselves include additives that adversely sway sufferers!

Since the 1990s there has been a dramatic increase in the use of anti-depressant medications, along with for young children, and along with 3000 prescriptions to babies under 12 months of age in the Usa alone! There has been a 10 fold increase in major depression since 1945.

Since the 1970s rates of autism are opinion to have increased 10 fold in the Usa.

Just because a food additive is called 'natural' doesn't mean its safe!

So here are some examples of nasty food additives to avoid if you're having difficulties sleeping, waking in the middle of the night, waking too early, feeling anxious, overly tired, depressed, stressed, etc:

o The common bread preservative (or mould inhibitor) 282. Calcium propionate (282)'s symptoms (from eating quantities of bread) can include strangeness getting to sleep, night walking, night terrors, unexplained tiredness, depression, irritability, growing pains, bed wetting, nasal congestion and restlessness;

o Wakefulness, depression, restlessness, irritability (320 Bha Buylated Hydroxyanisole antioxidant - banned in Japan and may be unlisted in products containing less than 5% vegetable oils);

o Salicylates. There's a factsheet on salicylates that includes data relevant to tinnitus, reversible hearing loss, vertigo, symptoms of Meniere's Disease, insomnia, changes in children's behavior. Of particular interest here is the data on how 'good old fruit and vegetables' are not all the time good at all. Find out about low salicylate fruit and vegetables vs. High salicylate fruit and vegetables, and how to operate your intake;

o Wakefulness in young children (102 Tartrazine colouring and 110 Sunset Yellow colouring);

o 621 Monosodium Glutamate flavor enhancer Msg. Restlessness, wakefulness and irritability; and

o 951 Aspartame synthetic sweetener - banned for Us air pilots. Mood alteration (anxiety, agitation, irritability, depression), insomnia, fatigue.

It's also very unfortunate that some nasty food additives do not have to be declared on the goods labels - so you will need to explore further to find out exactly which breads are the ones that don't have the food additive that in associated with depression, etc. There's also data on hair spray and air fresheners, it's a must-read.

Sue has industrialized the Failsafe Diet to help citizen eliminate the nasty food substances from their system.

So if you find this report alarming, we've presented something valuable. Your responsibility is to explore further to ensure that you, your children and loved ones aren't diminishing their vitality by shopping carelessly. If you're not already doing it, start reading the labels. And what's more, if you do have a sleep disorder (or any other medical problem), you need to look further - because maybe there's an additive in your food that doesn't even have to be declared by law to be included on the label.
