1. The first few ingredients listed on the puppy food bag are what make up the majority of the food. Look for abundance of capability protein like chicken meal. Puppies need capability protein to help keep them during their peak growing years.

2. Find a food that tastes good. You want your puppy to enjoy his food. Some associates offer samples of their dog food so you can see if your puppy will like it. That way you won't have to take a opening on either or not he likes it!
